Dervish minority prisoners are deprived of medical treatment outside prison The head of branch 15 or Revolution Court, Judge Salavati continues his illegal interference in the medical treatment of political prisoners and the prisoners of conscious. - On July 16th, Farshid Yadollahi, a lawyer of Gonabadi Dervishes had a dental appointment. The appointment was coordinated and ordered by Tehran’s Prosecutor Office, but Judge Salavati prevented his transfer. Upon the personal directive of Salavati the Dervish prisoners have to wear prison uniform and have to be handcuffed when referring to medical centers. - On Saturday July 13th, when Afshin Karam Poor and Omid Behrooze refused from complying to Judge Salavati’s illegal order they were not transferred to their medical centers. - On Sunday, July 14th, Farshid Yadollahi was not deployed for medical treatment. - On Tuesday morning, July 16th as the most recent case, Hamid Reza Moradi a Dervish’s rights activist was not deployed to Shohada Hospital in Tajrish (northern Tehran) under the order of Salavati. This imprisoned Dervish is suffering from embolism as well as disc prolapse in his back. Although according to his doctors his is at risk of limb amputation it is for 8 months that his treatment has stopped under the order of Judge Salavati. (Majzoban Noor Website 17 July 2013)
