Describe your first exposure to this music: Heres mine: it was 1989 in Ann Arbor MI. A soon-to-become close friend gave me a tape with Lushs Scar and Mad Love on one side, and Pale Saints Comforts of Madness on the other. He said I think youre gonna like this... That tape became a permanent fixture in my walkman, pretty much the soundtrack to that entire year, and the tipping point of a major shift in my musical tastes. Thank you Justin!
