Description We are holding a PEACEFUL, POLITE protest/outreach and rally at the Nevada County Fair to educate fair goers why they should not allow their children to ride the elpehants. Have Trunk Will Travel has been caught on video abusing their elephants to train them to twirl hula hoops around their trunks, stand on their heads, and to "cluck like a chicken." These are magnificent, endangered animals who should not be treated like a carnival ride. The rally, which is planned to be masses of elephant supporters coming together to make an impact on fairgoers, will be 8/7 at 5:30 Gate 1, Free Speech Zone. Outreach/protest events are planned for the full five days of the fair: 8/7, 8, 9, 10, 11, from 10:00 - 7:00 pm. For more information contact [email protected].
