Desert Stars Fest 2014 NEWS! Alan McGees Creation Records label pioneered the 90s Wall of sound movement with bands like My Bloody Valentine, Ride (band) & The Telescopes (Official). We are excited to have so many Creation Records artists represented at this years Festival along with modern innovators of the genre like LSD and the Search for God , Ringo Deathstarr and veterans The Dandy Warhols ! But it gets even better as we have so many amazing artists this year including Austins very own Alex Maas of The Black Angels, David J performing songs from his entire career with his band David J & The Gentleman Thieves plus new artists of the scene like No Silver Bird, Death Valley Girls & Drinking Flowers to name a few! Weve got Joel Gion & The Primary Colours featuring tambourine guru Joel Gion from The Brian Jonestown Massacre performing this year with a new record just released! And then theres Barrie Cadogan of Primal Screams - Little Barrie - one of several of our acts coming all the way from England who are sure to induce mind altering grooves. We have San Francisco based The Richmond Sluts who recently reformed and have been making tracks from here to Europe and beyond. Joshua Tree locals Jesika von Rabbit of Gram Rabbit performs her seductive psychedelic sound as well as The Blank Tapes who have also just completed a new album! There are simply so many incredible acts this year and we know that you will be blown away by them all. Come out early and soak up the music and the hi desert for the entire weekend !
