Deshaun Thomas from Ohio State goes 58 to the San Antonio Spurs. 2 picks away from being Mr Irrelevent. All in a year when the draft was considered as weak. Of course it was considered weak imo because so many of the players are so young and unproven. Perfect proof that some of these kids listen to the wrong people and think they are better than what they are. Used to be kids went to college to get a degree and work on their game and prove themselves, but now they are so anxious and they all think they can be the next Lebron and are ready for the NBA when they are in high school. They simply are not ready. He will probably wind up in the D-League when he could have stayed for his senior year, worked on his game, earned his degree, and possibly heightened his draft stock. Not to mention, with him still in the lineup, Ohio State would have had a legitimate shot at a national championship. That is just the latest example.
