Design interns Johannesburg All positions are expenses-only internships, for work experience only. Transport is provided for full-time interns, and all content-related expenses are covered. Internships run on a three-month cycle, and require a 4 day/week commitment in Johannesburg. Interns will design elements for our online platforms, including our website livemag.co.za, YouTube channel and social media networks. They will also be involved with various branding briefs. Prospective candidates need to have experience in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. They should have an interest in layout, and an understanding of typography. Experience in illustration and web design is an asset, but not mandatory All interns are offered career counselling, CV and portfolio editing, opportunities to network with and learn from relevant media industry professionals. Participants gain on-the-job experience in a real working environment, creating industry-standard content for a national audience of their peers. All activities take place under the guidance of a team of media mentors, all of whom are working professionals in their respective fields.
