We are currently seeking a hard-working, dedicated Deskside Support Specialist in Chicago, IL to join our innovative and passionate team. Responsibilities: •Create accounts for new hires in multiple internal systems, including the Active Directory. •Prep machines, and install software on new hire/replacement machines. •Configure MS Outlook •Reimage machines. •Install RAM in desktops/laptops. •Data entry. •Ability to migrate data from a user’s old machine to their replacement machines. •Remove PST’s from terminated employee’s machines, and back up files on server. •Weigh, package, and deliver completed equipment to UPS pickup location in building. •Analyze returned equipment to determine if it is eligible to be reissued, utilized for parts, or if it should be slated for recycling. •Diagnose and repair hardware and software. •Assist in monitoring the inventory in the office, and advise when stock is low. •Assist in checking in returned equipment. •Ability to multitask. •Able to lift up to 50 lbs. •Be willing to work extra hours as needed to satisfy demand during high volume periods. •Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: •Bachelor degree in Computer or Information Science, Technical School or equivalent experience preferred •2+ years’ work experience in a PC maintenance role preferred •Ability to work under high pressure with time sensitive tasks •Experience in relevant Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Exchange 2007, Office 2007, SharePoint and Remote support tools •Service oriented mentality with a strong customer focus •Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to a variety of audiences •Ability to work well within a team. •Ability to effectively manage your time. •Ability to adapt to change. •Strong problem solving abilities with the ability to use sound judgment when escalating incident and problems jobview.monster/GetJob.aspx?JobID=135412315&aid=33986481&uid=1000100334B41D35437222B7F9C544EE242AEAB3244453C9A1259499C559CBA27AA5E111AF8789E4B3DEEE7BE046AA58E96BA3AC8CFCF28E448A20F9B43C9DD4F0A1D9342D53E893B78FBE6B63CAA8DFF8621F&WT.mc_n=JSAHG10&jvs=e%2Car%2Cl%2C2
