Despite being unable to once again reboot the cable box, last when I was able to view TV I received the message that the Showtime package Ive subscribed to for years is no longer provided due to owner CBS charging Time Warner high prices. They are negotiating but may take a long while. Also, major markets have lost their CBS affiliate such as WCBS in New York no longer broadcasting on cable locally in NY city. Very alarming that major cities will not even have their local network affiliates. Solution? Go to Primetime On Demand and watch shows after the fact. On demand rarely functions either. Customers will get credit for the disservice on their bill. My solution rather than wasting money, time and energy is to cancel service, keeping the high speed internet only and do without. Im on my own tablet 90 percent of the time anyway. For folks who need to utilize their TV this is quite the setback in technology. In the place of many channels too, is a black screen.
