Despite deliberately avoiding newspapers and news reports - TopicsExpress

Despite deliberately avoiding newspapers and news reports altogether, as its just too depressing for a sensitive soul like mine, I found out somehow about the dogs home set on fire in Manchester. Humanity makes me feel violently sick. What I also find very disturbing is what an easy target for dog haters those poor animals were. I mean, why are over 200 dogs crammed in that place anyway? Thats over 200 owners dumping them, like disposable commodities (I have neighbours that do that, f*** hate it). Plus the dogs that didnt make it to those crates, and were put to sleep due to lack of spaces in shelters... ( Battersea and the RSPCA being the biggest offenders, victims of their own successful marketing campaigns). And how many dogs shelters are there in this country? How many dumped pets??? Im baffled. And can people stop setting dogs on fire please? Two years ago it was Codie the collie, now over 50 dogs....Sick, sick, sick. I am in a very, very shitty mood so approach with caution today. And please dont come back on this one with they donated more money in 24 hours than to humanitarian causes in many months: I do not support anthropocentrism- be warned. Nor people who eat meat blah blah blah... Thats another debate. Rant over.
