Despite good intention, charging fees from Political parties to run Thevar Jayanthi, PMKs Mamallapuram incident (Disclaimer: I am definitely against both) and deducting for damages is a dangerous idea by Badri. This is the problem with center right ideologists. They equate every problem in the world with money, penalty & a pay-off. Badri few years back suggested, instead of fighting for Cauvery Water, we could probably buy it from Karnataka for a fixed price. First learn to distinguish between a Right Vs a Demand. Cauvery is our right, we are not begging with Karnataka for alms. Its a plain violation of Supreme Court order. Come on, Price is only an exchange model for a specific product / service in a given environment. Thats Economics 101. It wont fit for rights, identities, emotional things.
