Despite its many accolades, Naples, Florida ~ Beautiful Naples on the Gulf!, also has the unfortunate distinction of being the second most unequal place in America. The gap between the rich and the poor is vast CNN Reports. This is according to Census Bureau data, which cites that in Collier County the bottom 20% of wage-earners take home less than $14,000 a year. Thats a staggering one out of five people--many of them struggling to support a family in a city where the average rent costs a whopping $1,098.
