Despite my stupidity and Thanks to the amazing job of Aleta Turner, the event at the Athens GA library was FABULOUS! Yes, I messed up on the time, advertising the event at 1 pm and it was at 3 pm. Aleta to the rescue! Aleta called everyone in early, and opened a smaller room for us at 1 pm. We met with a small crowd then and I answered questions and did two readings. Then we traipsed to the auditorium where a larger crowed awaited and I did my *speech* and a different kind of Q&A. Then there was the party with loads of sweets and I ate everything! Delicious (and I was famished). Then we did a book selling and signing. The B&N lady was WONDERFUL to come early. The library has WONDERFUL staff, WONDERFUL Friends of the Library and it was a totally fabulous event thanks to their working around my stupidity! I am home now and comfy and ready to shower for bed. Ahhhhh.....
