Despite our book deadline and another huge project in the works (or perhaps, BECAUSE of those deadlines), Hayley worked up a new recipe for the blog yesterday! This is a complete overhaul of one of our first blog recipes for Apple Crisp... hope you enjoy it! Apple Crisp Ingredients: - 6 Granny Smith Apple, peeled and chopped - 1/2 Lemon, the zest and juice - 1 1/2 tsp ground Cinnamon, divided - 1/4 tsp ground Nutmeg - 1/2 cup Maple Sugar, plus one tablespoon for the apple filling - 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, Grass-fed. Room temperature, and cubed. Plus two tablespoons for the apple filling - 1 cup Blanched Almond Flour, plus 1 tablespoon - 1/4 cup Coconut Flour - 1/4 tsp Himalayan Pink Sea Salt - 1 Tbsp Coconut Palm Sugar, or maple sugar primalpalate/paleo-blog/paleo-apple-crisp/
