Despite our greatest efforts .. malaria continues to be a problem. Its more common than we would like to admit. They all have new fly nets and other prevention methods but we still have children getting malaria on a regular basis. Its very dangerous and even the treatment isnt pleasant. Therefore we decided to send money from the medical/emergency fund to fumigate the whole home. It was done safely where kids didnt inhale the fumes. This method have been known to keep mosquitos away so we will see how this goes and how long it last .. etc.. if we see rates of malaria decrease, we can see about trying to continue it in the future. Thank you to everyone who supports the emergency fund or even adds on a few extra dollars to sponsorship... it all adds up to make things like these possible without interfering with the regular home budget.
