Despite school being out, the School Pantry program continued to - TopicsExpress

Despite school being out, the School Pantry program continued to operate through the summer and served 28 families and 122 individuals making July the largest month so far. It was a very busy Tuesday and Thursday afternoon as many families showed up to take advantage of the opportunity to stretch their food budgets during these hot summer days. The Lewiston Food Bank had to restock the shelves twice during that time to keep up with the demand. We still have a lot of baby formula if there are any families with new babies in the household that need to stretch their WIC dollars. The School Pantry will be open again August 27th and 29th from noon to 4 pm. If your family is in need of help, please stop by and take advantage of this free program.
