Despite the LAST minute change of venue, yesterdays conference was a success. Thanks to all that came out and attended and all the volunteers that work hard to make this possible. We hope this event gave you a BOOST in your confidence as a Muslim and equipped you with knowledge to make you feel PROUD that Islam is your way of life. The speakers were amazing, addressing the issue of Pride In Islam from all different angles. We were blessed to have Julio, a NEW Muslim, to take his shadaha with us yesterday during the event. We also raised over $1,400 for the NEW upcoming Project #Transform for our dear sister Firdaous to visit the house of Allah (swt) and make Hajj. BIG SHOUT OUT to the MAS Youth Center for not just allowing to use their place free of charge, but having to re-arrange their weekend programs to accommodate us. This event would of been cancelled if they did not open their arms to us. They had NO hesitation whatsoever and supported us 100% with anything we needed. The Prophet (saw) said: “Allah will ask on the Day of Judgment: ‘Where are those who loved each other for the sake of My glory? Today, - on a day when there is no shade but mine – I shall shade them with My shade.” [Sahîh Muslim (2566)] Those people who loved each other for the sake of Allah (swt) were gathered at 1933 Bath ave, Brooklyn. May Allah (swt) grow the LOVE & SUPPORT of Muslims working for His (swt) sake. #ProudMuslim #LongLiveIslam
