Despite the crazy day, here are some updates for all my amazing friends from near and far: THE DOG FRONT (https://facebook/media/set/?set=a.361779727259467.1073741825.299351420168965&type=3) - ***Arnold and Chucky*** are growing, but they will still be small-medium sized. They are finally looking and acting like happy, carefree puppies, energetic and able to make you laugh every 5 seconds. I dewormed them again today, and applied the tick and flea solution; sadly, the foster option with Alex Tanasescu got delayed (or potentially cancelled) :( as they are taking on a big litter of puppies and also leaving the country; the option might be revisited (hopefully) next week; for my Romanian friends: Poate ajuta cineva cu foster pentru cei doi pitaci? Stau inchisi intr-o baie mica, fara lumina naturala, si au mare nevoie de atentie si dragalit. Cum noi suntem mai mult in afara biroului, nu apuca decat 5-10 minute pe zi. :((( https://facebook/kisstzu/media_set?set=a.10151702718205671.1073741845.500350670&type=3 - ***Babette and Jacquelyn*** are still looking for adopters, with Babette not having received even A SINGLE message of interest. :(( This saddens me profoundly as the secretaries are absolutely amazing - well-mannered, sweet, friendly, accommodating and HEALTHY. I honestly dont want them to spend the winter outside. :(( - ***Fiona*** - her ideal offer as therapy dog to Germany was not confirmed, and sadly shes running out of time, living outside in a yard full of dogs, where she is the smallest. She is absolutely terrific, a positive and vibrant pooch who only wants to please you. Seriously, isnt there a great person out there who would appreciate this amazing and gorgeous poodle/bichon mix? Shes getting trained to become a therapy dog, and its SUCH a shame to not be able to give her the chance to change someones life for the better. :( She had an allergic reaction to the surgery wires and I have get her into surgery again so we can remove them and adherent tissue. https://facebook/media/set/?set=a.401318833305556.1073741829.299351420168965&type=3 - ***Bellu and Bobo*** are still looking for loving homes, but they will hopefully go to experienced fosters, so that interested people can come and visit them; we chose this option to ensure we find the best possible fit for them, being large sized males; having notified Bellus paid fosterer that he is leaving by mid November, I really need to find a solution for him. https://facebook/media/set/?set=a.393216970782409.1073741828.299351420168965&type=3 - ***Yetta*** is miserable in the common yard, being bullied by all of the dogs, but shes hopefully leaving to a better life soon, and that gives me a glimmer of hope
