Despite the destruction in Gaza, I take no sides when it comes to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. For every action there is a reaction; some more volatile than others. This situation is horrible and I have sympathy for the innocents who suffer, but I also recognize the stimulate of destruction which is Hamas and the other terrorist organizations which maintain a presence with Gaza and the PTs/OPTs. I was reading a quote today by Golda Meir which summed up quite a bit We can forgive the Arabs for killing our children. We cannot forgive them for forcing us to kill their children. We will only have peace with the Arabs when they love their children more than they hate us. Im not confident that the Israeli government can forgive anyone for an assault against their country, but I do have confidence in the latter half of this statement. Hamas must lay down their arms and abandon their agendas if there is to be any hope of peace
