Despite the documentary support from the Rajyasabha, 31st report, 16th report of Standing committee of health, Union Law ministrys view regarding not to equate Physiotherapy with paramedics, Planning commissions recommendations to establish Independent Physiotherapy Council in India, still few states are proposing state councils with inferior status to physiotherapy. Now its West Bengal Government which is planning West Bengal Allied Medical & Paramedical Council Bill 2014 & planning to introduce in assembly. the official declaration of Publics views & suggestions will be announced soon. I studied rough bill & prepared rough draft of suggestion which i circulated to WB Physios, few principals, dynamic physios of west Bengal & also to Einstein Jerome sir, Hitesh Arora, Gayatri Ajay Upadhyay, Piyush Jain. These 4 ppl helped me to refine the draft. After suggestion from all, i will publish it on FB & once official declaration of invitation of suggestion will done by govt. we will mail / post it. I want your opinion, Should we accept a Council with Inferior status ? Clubbed with heterogeneous profession?
