Despite the seemingly huge differences between Hinduism and Islam - TopicsExpress

Despite the seemingly huge differences between Hinduism and Islam ( this is just a newbie reflection from my side as an outsider so not much serious research about it) One can not but observe the striking similarities regarding worshiping rituals the cleaning part before prayer the circumbulation around temples reciting holy text ( very similar to what muslims do in the Kaaba) the prosternation and the aura in the temples. Also the Vedas aka Knowledge in Old Sanskrit is usually used with the term Shruti which means hearing which makes it what is heard like the Quran aka What is Read. Most hindus I have met have never read the whole Vedas and when asked why the common answer is that one needs to reach a level of understanding to be able to connect with them, interestingly its very common to find Muslims having read the Quran wholly and many many know it by heart verse by verse, my answer was that from a Muslim perspective how can one Know God without reading his Word and understanding his path. #Discovering_Hinduisim
