Despite this month being AWFUL, Ive decided to continue with what I promised to do. Devotionals to and about my Husband. Praying wife time! Lord, you alone know the depth of the burden my husband carries. I may understand the specifics, but You have measured the weight of it on his shoulders. Ive not come to minimize what You are doing in his life, or mine, for I know You work great things in the midst of trials. Help him to see You Lord, the way that you have opened the eyes of my heart, to feel You, receive You, and act accordingly please open his Lord. May he seek You, be led by You, rely totally upon You. Lord, Youve said that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, feed his soul with Your word so his faith grows. Father, come into our lives and our homes today and direct our paths, put us where You want us to be, and strengthen the focus of our minds on each other, our family, and the greater good. Lord, we are struggling, and I know you are aware. Teach me to be the wife, and the Meghan that You need me to be, to bring my husband to You, Your grace, and Your acceptance and love. Father, I know that I was called from the time and place that You needed, help me to see how to act in this role. Take over my home Lord, bring us back together rededicated if thats what You intend and need from us. Father, I create a mess of things when I act for myself, I intend to act for You above all else. Change in me, what needs to be changed (as Youve done so amazingly so far) and help me focus where you need me to be for my husband, my kids, and our family. In Jesus name I pray!
