#Destinys Loot Cave shut down by #Bungie. Bungie have officially announced the closure of the Infamous loot farming cave that was brought to the communities attention once found by Destiny dedicates. The cave itself attracted a large quantity of players on all platforms and basically allowed players to endlessly farm groups of fast spawning mobs from a safe distance. Developer Bungie had this to say: Shooting at a black hole for hours on end isnt our dream for how Destiny is played. Our hope is that social engagement in public spaces is only one part of the Destiny experience. Expect changes soon which decrease the efficiency of cave farming and correspondingly increase engram drops from completing activities. Now obviously this has come as a bit of bad news and has been met with a less than understanding audience. Especially after criticism of Destinys long winded loot system has left a lot of players losing interest in the game after reaching level 20. We here at 4-One Gaming support the decision however, we believe a game like Destiny SHOULD be difficult, especially when it comes to farming end-game gear. The game was made to be played a specific way that will never appeal to everyone, but exploiting a mechanic is never the answer.
