Observer bureau Udhampur, Nov 08 Jan Jagriti Manch, a youth organization, held a protest march against the new recruitment policy of the J&K government. The procession started from the press club, Jammu. In their slogans they expressed dissatisfaction with the anti-people policy of the state government. Parveen president of Jan Jagriti Manch addressed the gathering . he condemned this anti-people policy and stated that it is against the welfare of society as a whole. Addressing the gathering, he said that despite the protest of collage and university the government has been unresponsive attitude does not bode well. If the government does away with the security of tenure and income associated with government job, many middle class families with suffer, Parveen said, Instead of taking steps to ameliorate the condition of educated unemployed youth in the state, the government id degrading their condition further. This policy is just the beginning of privatization. That day is not far when, the state will refuse to take responsibility for healthcare and education. We will have to pay lakhs of repees for a college education!. He further said that this was being done to further the interests of the private sector. Terming the youth as the ingredients of economic wealth and over all development, the NSF leader said that the educated youth of the state are left with only hope of source of revenue in government jobs, because the private sector in the state assures restricted jobs and those too mainly to the technocrats and professionals. JAMMU NOV 08: A massive protest/Jail Bharo programme was organized by J&K Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) today i.e., on 8th of Nov, 2011 on the call of Central Trade Unions and National Federations to oppose anti-youth new recruitment policy of J&K govt., high price rise, enforcement of labour laws, fixation of statutory minimum wages at not less than Rs. 10,000/- per month.The workers of various unions i.e., J&K ASHA Workers Union, Railway Loading & Unloading Workers Union, Northern Zone Insurance Employees Association, Teacher,s Association, Building & other Construction workers unions, J&K Kisan Tehreek, Chinab Hydro Power Project,s workers union, Bhartiya Coal Khan Mazdoor Union, Kalakot, Medical Representatves Union etc. assembled at Bikram Chowk, Jammu. Kathua, NOV 08: The Unemployed Educated Youth Association held the protest demonstration at Shaheedhi Chowk kathua against the new recruitment rule imposed by the state coalition government. The large number of the activists of the Association squarely condemned the recruitment rule which is nothing more than exploitation and harassment of the youth along with their parents whose number of desires and dreams are dependent on them. Instead of encouraging the brilliant brains they are exploiting in all ways. Govt. is experimenting on all methods to save money by unmeaning full methods and pocketing money in their own pockets by increasing the salaries of politicians and burcrates. They further said on the very first day of Darbar move announcement of shut down of school and colleges to avoid any possible agitation is also a condemnable decision because due to this students community suffers heavy loss in connection with their studies. He further said that this is also a time of acid test for M.L.A who are sitting in the assembly to represent their tehsils and districts who sit in the assembly by fetching the precious votes of the people from their respective constituencies. He further said that whether Chief Minister of J&K State taken the consent of all M.L.A. in the assembly before implementing this decision if not then legally implementation of this recruitment policy is not valid till the unanimous decision is taken in the assembly & if members of assembly already given their consent for this recruitment bill then they will also prepare themselves for their fate in the next assembly election Because Sky High India Social Organization ready to raise this issue during next assembly election. Members of the organization further said that Mr. Omar Abdullha Chief Minister earlier announced that the Municipal election was held after ramzan but residents of the State celebrated Diwali & Id but till date govt. didnt announce the schedule of Municipal election in the State due to which the development plans are delayed without any reason. JJM holds protest…… JAMMU NOV 08: Nirbhao Nirvair organization and Jan Jagriti Manch (JJM) organized a strong protest march against the new Recruitment policies of the J&K Government with regard to the Appointment of the Educated Youth of J&K. The demonstration has taken place at Press Club, Jammu the protestors has blocked the Tawi Bridge about ½ hours and a rally was ends at Press Club to Bikram Chowk,Jammu in which hundred of masses taken participated in the said rally and slogans were raised against the collation Government. The President of the NNO S. Harjeet Singh said that we will not sit idle on this issue as it is the matter of the career of our kids and kins and by issuing such an order is totally unaccepted to us and will fight with stone hands with the Government for such an policy and the Government is well aware of the facts that the hikes of every essential commodities has touching the sky and on the other hands the Government is issued such an policy which is creating more and more hindrances amongst the un-employed youths and the Government is himself responsibilities if the un-employed will choose other method for their livelihood by issuing such an un-lawful orders.
