Details of KRS Murthys India Trip with dates and meetings Oct 26 2014 As many of you may know already, I am in India now. I m traveling as the Chairman of the company, with our company executives. I am in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, returning from Jaisalmer, Rajasthan exploring solar installation in that location with the highest solar radiation in India, and one of top in the world. I visited a solar PV installation of 33 MW in Rajasthan, near Jodhpur. We are going to New Delhi today and stay there for one or two days. We will be visiting our potential manufacturing facility in New Delhi. We will be visiting a facility for our PV training program. We will be in Chitkara University, Chandigarh to conclude and ink an agreement for International University - Indian University Strategic Alliance. We already had similar Indian University to International University joint program inking with one university in Bhopal, MP and and another in Gwalior, MP. We met and discussed similar programs in two universities in Bangalore. We met Minister of Energy in MP, Minister of Education in MP, Registrar of Jiyaji University. Over all cities and activities in this trip: Bangalore - Oct 02 - Oct 14 Meeting with an energy company CEO, who has done hydro, wind and solar thermal. We talked him about solar. Contact me for detalis. Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh Oct 15 - 18 Visited a composite manufacturer, who is already supplying to military customers. Another company which makes turbine rotors structures for domestic and international customers. An education and R&D institute, with attached university - to set up international alliances Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh - Oct 19 - 22 A big university with over 100 acres and 200,000 sq ft of built space and many departments in engineering and nursing. We met the Vice Chancellor, Managing Director, deans, department heads and professors. We have an agreement established to set up international degree and other collaborative programs with international universities. A cancer hospital and research institute, with college of nursing, in a 350 acres of beautiful land, full of greenery. They are interested in international collaboration. I was given a detailed tour of the hospital by the board members, who are cancer specialists. They also gave me a tour of a new building in final stage of construction. This would be a multi specialty hospital. We had discussion with some solar and other green technology companies. Our company has a guest house and a car. Oct 23 - 26 - Part of our team went to discuss a multi megawatt opportunity in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. October 24 - 25, 2014 - I visited Jodhpur and Jaisalmer and other locations in Rajasthan for solar installations. October 24 - 25, 2014 - Jaisalmer, Rajasthan has the highest solar radiation in India, and also one of the worlds highest solar radiation. October 24 - 25, 2014 - We were hosted by the Royal family in Jasalmer in their palace. This family will our partner for us to put up a solar farm in their land. October 24 - 25, 2014 - We visited and 33 MW solar park in which a famous EPC contractor has sold parcels of solar installations to different companies. The different company customers have from 1 MW to 19 MW of solar installation in this park. We quickly noticed that the proposed output from the EPC contractor and the international panel manufacturer from China, Canada and EU is just nice numbers on paper. The real solar power output is a very small percentage of the proposed numbers. I have done the complete analysis. Thi goes to demonstrate that the solar panel company panels and other balance of systems are not at performing to the specs. The panels and the balance of systems and real solar outputs are only a small fraction of the specified.
