Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre (IGCC) in association with Asian Paints, IRCON and Marico Bangladesh organised an Evening of Stand Up Comedy at 6:30 PM on September 06 , 2014 at the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre, House No. 35, Road No. 24, Gulshan-1, Dhaka. Mirakkel is the biggest and most popular comedy reality show in Zee Bangla TV Channel of Kolkata. It is avidly watched by people of both Bangladesh and India. Farzana Sagir Shoshi Ms. Farzana Sagir Shoshi is a female standup comedian and actress. She is widely known for her participation in Mirakkel Akkel Challenger-5, where she became the 2nd runner up. After that she started to acting in serials, comedy shows and live comedy shows. Though she is widely known as a standup comedian she is also doing drama serials and drama short films. She also presents live songs in various shows. She is one of the founding members of Buno Paira which is the comedy club created by the Bangladeshi Mirakkel Akkel Challenger participants. Anwarul Alam Sajal Mr. Anwarul Alam Sajal started his comedy career performing in Zee Bangla Mirakkel Akkel Challenger-6 in 2011. He was the 2nd runner up in Mirakkel Akkel Challenger-6 in 2011-2012 and the finalist in Mirakkel Awsome Sala in 2012. He was the guest performer in Mirakkel-7 in 2013. Now he is working as an actor in Bangladeshi Film and TV media. He has already acted in three movies, which are yet to be released. He has also performed in various TV dramas and serials. Jamil Hossain Mr. Jamil Hossain started standup comedy in his school life. He was selected to perform in Mirakkel-6, where he reached the grand finale, and secured the 4th position. He is now busy performing in various standup comedy shows, shows on TV and on the stage, and also anchoring, He is also a singer. He works in TV serials and dramas. Abu Hena Rony Mr. Abu Hena Rony is a standup comedian of Bangladesh. He was the champion of Mirakkle-6. Before participating in Mirakkel, he participated in Haa Show in NTV in Bangladesh. He started standup comedy in his university life in Rajshahi. In 2011 Mirakkel-6 audition came to Bangladesh. He attended the audition and was finally selected for performing in Mirakkel-6. He made it to the grand finale and eventually became the champion. He is now busy with his stand up comedy work, performing TV shows, stage shows, and anchoring. Presently he is anchoring the comedy show Khude Rosik Raj. He has also created a new comedy club called Buno Payra. He is also working as a RJ in Radio Today. ****
