Details on our buddy Jim, James C. J.C. Ninios J.C. Ninios, 90, of Bowling Green died Thursday in Bowling Green. He was a World War II veteran serving in the Pacific theater on the USS Franks Naval Destroyer. He was a member of the Bowling Green Christian Church, lifelong member of the Greek Orthodox church. J.C. was also a 32nd degree Mason, member of the Oddfellows, and the Shriners. He owned and operated the Ninios Agency for 60 plus years. Preceding him in death was his loving wife of 68 years, Orcie Lee Ninios. Survivors include a sister, Catherine Dickerson, and a niece, Rita Kay Windham (Charles) all of Clearwater Florida and a cousin Katherene Kanellopoulos (Peter) of Chicago. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Saturday at J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel, funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 2 pm at the funeral home. Private graveside services will be held Monday at Fairview Cemetery. J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
