Detectives Seek Public’s Assistance Identifying A Largo Grand Theft Auto Suspect..... PLEASE SHARE Who: Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Investigative Operations Bureau - Arson/Auto Theft Unit What: Detectives assigned to the Arson/Auto Theft Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a grand theft auto suspect who stole a truck from Largo car dealership. When: The suspect was seen in the area of the dealership between the hours of 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 and approximately 3:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2014. Where: The theft occurred at Transtar Motors located at 6426 126th Avenue North in Largo. Why/How: Detectives assigned to the Arson/Auto Theft Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a grand theft auto suspect who stole a truck from Largo car dealership. According to detectives, on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at approximately 11:30 p.m. the suspect was observed entering the back lot of Transtar Motors located at 6426 126th Avenue North in Largo by climbing over a fence. The suspect appears to walk the lot, looking into vehicles and storage bins before leaving the area. A while later, in the morning hours of Thursday, July 24, 2014, the suspect returns to the car lot, enters a white 2011 Ford F-250 crew cab and leaves through the front gate. The suspect is described as a white male, slender build, who was last seen wearing a ball cap, a light colored long sleeve jacket or sweater and light colored shorts or pants. The investigation continues. Anyone with information on this theft is asked to contact Detective M.
