Detectives of the Crawford County Sheriffs Office, Bucyrus Police Department, Galion Police Department with the assistance of METRICH enforcement unit, Canine units of the Ohio State Highway patrol and Bucyrus Police Department conducted a search warrant at 235 E. Rensselaer St. at approximately 8:30 a.m. today. Keith C. Williams, age 50, is in custody awaiting charges and officers seized a significant amount of suspected heroin, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia and cash and counterfeit money. This search was part of an ongoing joint investigation into the heroin trafficking in Crawford County involving multiple law enforcement agencies working cooperatively. Detectives are continuing to investigate and citizens are reminded to contact their local agencies to report suspected drug activity. Our agencies appreciate the assistance of the public, and appreciate the hard work of individuals and organizations that take a stand against drug abuse.
