Deuteronomy 30:19-20NLT 19 "Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! 20 You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life, And if you love and obey the Lord, you will live long in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestor Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob." Prayer starter for today: Thank you Lord for this beautiful morning! Thank you for loving us. Praise you Lord! Lord, we come to you this day taking a stand to choose life and blessings for our lives. We pray that you cover our own lives, our children, our grandchildren and our great grandchildren with the blood of Jesus. Lord, we ask for a special blessing and renewed wisdom for the workers, teachers, school principals, superintendent, and leaders that over see the teaching of our children. We pray for unity in this community and a willingness to make the changes necessary to move this community forward. Help us Lord to remember as we open our mouths to speak that the past is gone and a new day has come. We pray that we become more committed to following you each day. In Jesus name we pray. AMEN
