Deuteronomy 6:5 And you #must #love the LORD your God with #all your #heart, all your #soul, and all your #strength. Worship is #not the slow version of praise. The word worship comes from an Old English word, weorthscipe which means to #attribute #worth. In other words, worship means #worthship, the #value you place on something. Worship goes beyond music, its a #lifestyle. What is the #first thing you do in the morning? Do you pick up your phone and check your bbm pings or you fall on your knees and begin to #praise God? What is the #first thing you remove when you get paid every month? Do you consciously remove your #tithe and keep it somewhere or its not even a priority at all? Do you give God the #leftovers? What do you spend 24 hours doing? Do you tithe your #time by spending at least 2 hours 40 mins in the #presence of God each day or you just say a 5 mins prayer and thats #all you have allocated to God for the whole day? Who do you #fear? Is it #God or your #boss? Whose #voice carries weight with you? Do you #believe more in what the #bible says or what #people say? All these are #choices that reveal what God is #worth to us, many of us are #guilty (including #myself) of placing #little or no worth on God. Let us ask for #repentance and the grace to put Him #above every other factor in our lives. Shalom
