Deuteronomy 8:2 Remember how the LORD your God led you all the way in the desert these forty years, to humble you and to test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands. Dear Brethren, God wants us to remember the times when He has blessed us and answered our prayers. We aren’t supposed to just receive the blessing and go along the journey of life and forget it. He wants us to remember. He had a reason for them to go through the desert all those years; He had some lessons for them to learn. But after it happened He wanted them to remember Who had helped them so they wouldn’t forget and become proud (Deuteronomy 8:10-15).We are the same way. Sometimes we need to stop and remember how God has been faithful in the past just so we don’t forget. Take some time to remember the times the Lord answered prayers. Remember Who it was that answered your prayer and remember that He is still with you today.
