Closing date 25 September 2013 Writers’ Centre Norwich is a dynamic literary organisation whose mission is to explore the artistic and social impacts of creative writing. We are audience focused and art form led, with a clear agenda of excellence, engagement and experimentation. In 2011 we led the successful bid for Norwich to become England’s first UNESCO City of Literature as well as securing £3m towards the £8.5m costs of developing a National Centre for Writing due to open in 2016. As part of our growth plan we have established a new Development Manager post which will work with the Fundraising Consultant, WCN CEO Chris Gribble, WCN Board, Campaign Council and WCN team to develop relationships and secure income from a wide variety of sources ensuring the viability and sustainability of the organisation and its activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who will enjoy the challenge of being part of this ambitious vision for literature and has at least 3 years experience of fundraising in the cultural, charitable or voluntary sector.
