Deviation from dharma meets with death and dissolution. The degree of deviation together with the agencies of correction has been variously explored in great works of literature, especially our epics. When the dharaa is overrun by despots and plunderers, overrun besides by the mute majority, someone is sent down or someone is sent forth from among the articulate and active to correct the path. The rutambharaa dharaa is restored to her happy spin again.
