Devotion, Prayer, And Bible Quiz “Food For The Soul” The Lord Cleanse Us From Sin [Leviticus 16:30-34/KJV] Sunday, January 25, 2015 [Scroll down to answer Bible Quiz questions.] Devotion: The annual Day of Atonement was the holiest day of the year for the Israelites, for on this day, the people were cleansed from the past year’s sin. The high priest entered the Most Holy Place and offered a sacrifice to atone for the sins of the entire nation. As Christians we can rejoice in the atonement we have received by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. We no longer need to wait for special days or festivals to approach our holy God. The Lord is always available to us. Give glory to God for the forgiveness we have received through Jesus Christ. Prayer: LORD JESUS CHRIST, only Son of the Father and Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world. Have mercy on us. You are seated at the right hand of the Father. Receive our prayer.
