Devotion of the day 24/10/2014 Devotion: Consideration Being considerate is a attribute related to gentleness. Considerateness concentrates on what is best for others meeting their needs, listening attentively, and being willing to learn. It allows them to grow. if you want to connect with people, youve got to start with their needs, not your own. Thats how you make that initial connection. If you want your needs to be met, first start centering our attention on meeting the needs of other people. Because God wants you to learn to be unselfish. He wants you to learn to love, to be generous like Him. Colossians 3:13 says, You must make allowances for each others faults and forgive the person who offends you. Remember God forgave you so you must forgive others”. Its funny when you look for the synonym of unselfish and listening you see Considerate. Scripture:Titus 3:1-7 NKJV Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men. For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. https://youtube/watch?v=uMcJL_UDAvw
