The study which had a sample size of slightly above 100 000 respondents, revealed that when it comes to marriage preferences most women prefer Bemba men whom they consider to be smart (as in the head), loyal, generous & romantic. It was also revealed that most Zambian men would prefer to marry a Tonga woman. Some of the positive attributes credited to Tonga women are that they are humble, hard working, have respect, know their place in the home and never try ti compete with the husband.
