Dhan Nirankar ji, Rev. Harbans Lal Arora, Member of the Executive Committee of the Sant Nirankari Mandal Incharge of Foreign Department, Sewadal and Branches (Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana) passed into his eternal abode at 4:30 a.m. today, November 6, 2014. The end came in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi where he was admitted on October 29 for heart treatment. He was 76. Rev. Harbans Lal was deeply involved in organizing the 67th Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam scheduled to be held in Delhi from November 15 to 17, 2014. Besides holding over-all responsibility for saints from abroad and Sewa Dal, he was actively associated with Committees for hiring of tents, purchase of langar material, layout planning, railway facilities and allotment of accommodation at Samagam Complex. The body has been placed at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Tilak Nagar for last darshan by Sadh Sangat. The cremation will take place at Tilak Vihar crematorium at 2:30 p.m. today. Rev Harbans Lal Ji was born on March 1, 1939 in Rawalpindi (Pakistan). His parents - Shri Harkrishan Lal Ji and Smt. Ram Kaur Ji were devoted and dedicated saints of Sant Nirankari Mission and blessed with Divine Knowledge by its founder Baba Buta Singh Ji. After the partition of the country, the family came to Delhi at the lotus feet of Baba Avtar Singh Ji and with his divine directions went to Mathura where his paternal grand-father Shri Tulsidass Ji used to live. Rev Harbans Lal Ji did his Matriculation in 1956 from Mathura. After that he went to Meerut where he did Wireless Operator Diploma from the ITI and side by side passed the Intermediate Examination. He passed Hindi (Hons) Examination also. In 1960 Rev Harbans Lal Ji joined as Wireless Operator in Railways at Allahabad. He worked in this post in Amritsar and Pathankot also for some time. In the year 1964 he returned to Delhi from Punjab and joined as Wireless Inspector in Railway Board. He worked in Railway Board for about 30 years and sought voluntary retirement 9 years before he was to superannuate from this service, during the year 1990 to take part in the service of Sant Nirankari Mission. Though he was doing regular Sewa since he shifted to Delhi along with many other Mahapurushas, he was mostly associated with Rev. Khem Raj Chadha, Rev. Balwant Singh Nirman, Rev. Gopal Singh Premi and other Members of Sant Nirankari Mandal including Pradhan Dr. Des Raj Ji and Secretary, Rev. Ram Saran. Rev. Harbans Lal Ji was blessed with Divine Knowledge (Gyan) at a very young age because the regular Sangat of Mathura was organized at the place of his residence. Rev. Babu Mahadev Singh Ji, a great saint of Sant Nirankari Mission used to visit Mathura from time to time and after taking inspiration from him, Rev. Harbans Lal Ji had full faith in Nirankar and Satguru. Rev Babu Mahadev Singh Ji had a great impact and filled him with the spirit of Sewa to attend all Samagams in Delhi from 1964 onwards and Regional Samagams in India. In 1964 Rev. Harbans Lal Ji joined the Sewa Dal Unit and took deep interest in all activities of Sewa Dal, when he lived in Moti Nagar with his family. He took part in the First Training Camp of Sewa Dal and got the Diploma as an Instructor. On his ability he was chosen as Sahayak Shikshak in Unit No. 2, Moti Nagar, Delhi. He was a perfect businessman, trained instructor, able Adhikari, responsible family person and devoted and dedicated saint of Sant Nirankari Mission. He gave the Sewa as Mukhi of Kirti Nagar for some time. After seeing the performance and excellent services in the Sewa Dal Rev. Harbans Lal Ji was chosen for the responsibility of Up-Mukhya Shikshak in Central Sewa Dal in 1987 fully dedicated to the service of Sewa Dal he was upgraded as Up-Mukhya Sanchalak on April 1, 1997 by His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj. He was an expert for performing various types of services during the Training Camps as well as Samagams. In addition to the charge of Up-Mukhya Sanchalak, Sewa Dal he was given the responsibility of Special Security Services and correspondence in 1999 which he performed very well. In November, 2006 His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj blessed Rev. Harbans Lal Ji with the Sewa of Mukhya Sanchalak, Sewa Dal, Delhi which he performed with full devotion and dedication upto April, 2009. He was also a member of All-India Working Committee from March 1, 1998 to March 2009, when it was dissolved. Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji had blessed him to reveal the Divine Knowledge on his behalf to the seekers of Truth on 17th January, 1977. Rev. Harbans Lal Ji has five brothers and one sister who are fully devoted and dedicated to the Mission. His mother Ram Kaur Ji was the Pramukh of Mathura Branch and did this Sewa upto the last breath of her life. After that his elder brother Rev. Jagdish Lal Arora was made the Pramukh of Mathura branch and he also performed this Sewa upto the last breath of his life. Rev. Shri Harban Lal Ji’s wife Smt. Vijay Arora is a well-educated and competent lady. But for her contribution, he would have not been able to devote so much of time towards the Mission’s Sewa. She looked after all the household responsibilities so that Rev. Harbans Lal Ji did not have to worry about the same at all. They have two sons and one daughter namely, Sanjay Arora, Meenu and Sunit Arora. Sanjay Arora is a Chartered Engineer in UK and fully associated with the Mission along with his family and devoting his services with the Sewa Dal in UK. He has two sons and two daughters. Sunit Arora is having a Boutique and an Archie’s Gift shop in Vikaspuri, Delhi and well associated with the Sadh Sangat along with his wife Vandana Arora and his son Vidhit Arora (a good Tabla Master). His daughter Meenu Arora has been married and settled in Dwarka, Delhi having her own business in Karol Bagh, Delhi and well settled having two sons Ashmit and Sanchit. Ashmit is a great singer and was First Prize winner from Delhi State Students of 12th Mount Coventry School, Dwarka, Delhi. He also got many prizes and gold medals in music. Sanchit is a Chess Player and a brilliant student of the school. All the grand-sons, grand-daughters are fully associated with Sadh Sangat.
