Dharma teaching are like a fine meal that should be eaten slowly - TopicsExpress

Dharma teaching are like a fine meal that should be eaten slowly and savored. If you eat to fast there will be no awareness of what was eaten and if you eat to much you will throw up. Small bites enjoyed and appriciated are the way to eat a fine meal. The Dharma is just like the fine meal to much to fast and you wont retain it and benefit from it. I know there are some who would have me rush ahead and give them everything now. That final answer, the complete understanding. But the practice of patience is also a part of the Dharma. I plod along with good reason. My offering is small bites to be savored. So when we are done we can all say, Ah!
