Dhiraj - 7 years back, today was the day when you first saw me dressed in shorts trying to get a pack of maggie and you saying it to your brothers - This girl is worth marrying. You didnt even know me then (except for my name i guess). No one i remember has ever said that to me on the first day. I remember of not being scared in a new place, being scared of ragging in a new happening college coz everyone knew how much you admired me (also given the advantage that you were our senior). I remember how you skipped your part of the meal just to give me a little more of that Kadhi Chawal or Rajma Chawal. I remember how you protected me from every single soul, how not to go wrong as though i was your kid. I remember you getting your first phone in 2007, so that you could be in touch with me. I remember you calling me your Lucky Charm and calling me every morning before your exams. I know Punjabis have a good heart but you, you are a soul so rare to find. You have a heart made of gold. I can never thank you enough for all that you have done for me. I am sorry, i was so dumb to miss on a diamond while collection the coals. I wish i would have understood it back then, life would have been much simpler. I am idiot, i know. I always miss out on the best people. Nevertheless, you are an important person who i never wanna miss. I am blessed of having known you in my life.I could have done the traditional way of wishing but i have a handful of people who i love, adore and respect. Loads of love and wishes.
