Dholna - Rupali Dalal - (Badra) Rupali Dalal is a rare versatile vocalist - one of the few prominent women exponents of the prestigious Kirana gharana of Hindustani classical music, who has also gathered acclaim for her ventures into several other genres of music. She sings with a rare insight into each raga, adding a touch of passion. With several concerts and performances to her credit, Rupali has released her first album, Badra, a delightful blend of different genres, gathering into its mellifluous fold such eclectic styles as lounge, sufi rock, Punjabi folk, hip hop, Rajasthani folk and pure classical fusion.
