Diamond Xpress - HTC 420 The new DX tools are now available in 180 mm size, fitting the HTC 420 VS. This give the multifunctional 420-machine another user application, dry grinding of marble and terrazzo floors - completely dry - without water. The Diamond Xpress tools that were launched in February 2013, have made it possible to grind marble, terrazzo and similar materials without involving water in the process. The result is a faster grinding process, higher level of gloss and no slurry to deal with. The tools are also available in 230 mm (HTC 500/650) and 270 mm (HTC 800/950/1500/2500). Based upon substantial research and development, testing and experience, HTC produces a unique range of diamond tools to cover all the different type of procedures possible with the HTC diamond grinders. There are diamond tools suitable for anything from very rough grinding equal to scarifying to high gloss polishing of natural stone or concrete. Natural stone grinding has historically been a complicated and expensive process with a lot of slurry to take care of. The 6th of February 2013, HTC launched industrys first 100% dry grinding system for natural stone floors, Diamond Xpress. The tools have been a success on the market and many fine stone floors has been restored to new shiny floors, faster and with significant savings in personnel, equipment and management.
