For a bigger person I sure did not sport a pair of balls, especially not when it comes down to thievery. I simply was not wired that way and yet there I was throwing on the first dark shirt in my reach. It didn’t even occur to me that the store had private fitting rooms before the fishing gear was off and my fresh blue jeans reflected back at me in the mirrors. In my thoughts the echoes continued on and on with the same damn questions:”What has come over me? Was I still suffering from temporary insanity?” The only thing certain was that none of this was capable by the Nick I know. This was a Nick that I could no longer trust. One stupid pill showed me the monster that was willing and able to escape from hospitals and evade cops, now..? Stealing! As much as I could not believe it, I still did all of these things like they were pure instinct. When all is said and done, they’ll drag me to the gas chamber. I just knew it. This is the way it ends for mentally unstable criminals. Hell, why stop now? I tossed the old rubbers under a shirt rack and made my way to foot wear. “CODE such and such… CODE such and such…ALL EXITS.” The man broadcasted announcing the presence of a criminal throughout the store with the push of a button. It felt like the speakers pointed at me with one hand and waved down the cops with the other. “Shit!” I cursed just slightly above a whisper heard in a library. “That would be for me…”I foolishly continued, informing the entire shoe isle. The couple next to me met eye to eye as I finished this unruly claim. The manner in which the man stepped back and the way his female companion’s mouth dropped open I could tell they knew there was now a clear possibility of pure super saving style danger, Available in your nearest neighborhood super store.
