Diary entry, HRH Mickey, 17 May: The Serf got home from training the Lion Presidents in Wellington and off we went for a walk. Could not wait until later, as the park is too near Newlands....what with the Stormers playing the Bulls, we would sit in traffic forever and there would be no parking at the park. Instead we are going to punish ourselves and watch the rugby game on TV - just as well I slept all most of the day.....I think a lot of shouting may ensue during the game, with blood pressure rising!! No late afternoon nap for me!! Back to the walk......boy...... are Jack Russells stupid...or what....I saw one bouncing up and down, trying to climb a rather high tree, to catch a squirrel that was long gone. I told him to come to the small, or big jungle gym with me and I would show him what climbing is all about....he continued to try and climb the tree!! :) Had fun in the park, climbed both jungle gyms, romped about with several dogs, got fussed, leapt about and chased leaves blowing in the wind!! :) Added PS....Bonnie boxed my ears.......I got a few good licks across her face.
