Kachum was the worst, a person had come for help, instead he injected evil into her; hes wages were death. Melba then prepared to leave the sangomas house a free woman. Chidiwa told her everything had gone right, the baby was freed and is resting in peace. When she told me about that she was getting ready to go home, I told her tell Chidiwa about the sms, that Kachums ghost will haunt her, I told her Im sure he can make something to ensure Kachums ghost doesnt haunt you. Melba immediately went to Chidiwa and told him, Chidiwa said you did well to tell me, I had not thought about that and it was gonna be difficult to get rid of his ghost, but now Ill make sure he doesnt find his way to you. he then gave Melba a different kind of incense to burn in her room, but this time He instructed her to burn it and go under the blanket while she burn it, and told her to say I am free, no spirit shall disturb me from henceforth, I am free I will not be disturbed by those from other realms, my body is mine it will not be an inhabitant for any spirit of any kind, I am a free soul I am free tjo Melba thought that was deep, she wondered what was the spirit moving into her body for, but decided to say it just like Chidiwa had said, she saved the words in her phone to practise. She was instructed to do that at least twice a day until all the incense in the plastic bag had been used. It looked as if it would take the whole week to finish all of it. She went to her room and started to burn the incense and did as told. Chidiwa had told her she could leave for home whenever she was ready, he wouldnt see her as he had lots of clients to see, he had a busy day ahead. So Melba relaxed and waited for her cousin Titie to come and fetch her. While she was talking to Chidiwas wife, a car pulled in, it was the same one that had brought her there the very first day, it was Zane, He had come to visit Chidiwa. But when he saw Melba he went straight to them, he greeted them and they spoke for about an hour. Titie arrived and Melba informed Zane that she was leaving that instant, Zane offered to drive them back to Bushbuckridge, they agreed and he took Melbas bags and they got into his car and drove to Hazyview first, he took them KFC and they had a meal before they left for Bushbuckridge, this Zane guy was pulling all the stops, busy flirting with my Melba. Titie liked the guy so she kept tryna hook them up, even though they been flirting already, when Mel told me about him I asked her if she was into him and she said no she wasnt ready to start a new relationship. I wondered why not cause she was single, free and young, the guy sounded generous, Cute and loaded I mean he was driving, well some guys can be driving and be broke at the same time like I was 3 years ago. When Melba got home, She told me she was now stressing about where she would find the money to finish up her debt with Chidiwa, I was equally broke at the time, I thought about it, the only person who had enough money to pay was Will who had disappeared into thin air, Will had been gone for over 9 months if not more, I thought maybe if Chidiwa could work his magic and bring Will back he would then be able to pay the rest of the bill. I told Melba look you need to go back to Chidiwa and tell him that your father is a rich man, but he suddenly disappeared mysteriously, if you can bring him back he will pay you all the money Im owing and the money you will charge him for bringing him back Melba went and told Chidiwa exactly as I had advised her, Chidiwa checked his bones and said that He could bring back her father but He wanted R1500 deposit first, the rest he could get when he was back. We were all excited, but where do we get R1500 from? Meanwhile I was chatting to Makona on mxit, I told her the heart ache Melba was going through and the hunger her family was going through, everyday I told her the same thing, as a step mum to them I thought she would send them money or something and seldom she sent them. Then one day she told me she regrets what she did, I asked her what did you do, she said that she couldnt tell and I reminded her that I wouldnt judge her, even last time when she told me about Mike I did not judge her and she seemed to believe me. She begged me not to tell anyone, she also reiterated that she was truly sorry for what she did, I told her ok its fine tell me what did you do, then she answered me by saying Im behind Wills disappearance, I made him disappear, I went to a sangoma so that he could leave me alone I was shocked, It all made sense, I asked her so if you didnt want him in your life why didnt you not tell the sangoma to make Will forget about you, why did you have to make him forget about his family? She replied and claimed she made a mistake, now she was regretting. I just dont understand woman, she made this man to forget about his family , his businesses, his kids are suffering today with no food, they live on handouts all because she was afraid Will would do a paternity test and kill her after finding out it wasnt his baby. I told her look its good that you are sorry and you want forgiveness, but help us bring Will back home to his kids, then you can ask for forgiveness from him. She replied Im afraid, Will will kill me if he finds out I did that to him then I told her look he will be happy to come back to his family, he wont do anything to you ok I made her see reason to what I was saying, and she agreed to help and I asked her so how are we bringing Will back, what must we do and she answered me take his clothes to a sangoma, he will be able to bring him back with them I then waited for month end to get paid as I did not have money then. In the mean time I told her that Makona had confessed to me that she was behind her fathers disappearance, she as shocked as I was, she stopped chatting to Makona on mxit and gave her the cold shoulder. Month end I sent Melba R1000, she organized the other R500 and she went to pay Chidiwa, she took her fathers clothes with her, her father also had a wardrobe in his Bushbuckridge house. Chidiwa took the clothes and the money, and promised Melba that her dad would soon be back. Within a week Melba received a Facebook message from her father, she was excited, He was slowly remembering where he was from, He remembered that he had a daughter and sent her a message. Three days later Will sent her an sms saying he was coming back from Cape Town the following week. Melba was so excited, she couldnt wait. The following weekend her father arrived in Johannesburg, he found a flat to stay, he didnt know how to act, what he was gonna tell his children, he just informed Melba by phone that he was in the city. He asked Melba to organize the kids and tell them that he was coming, Melba was back in germiston then. When Will arrived at his house the kids did not celebrate, they all looked at him, they did not even greet him. They were angry at him, they thought he went and abandoned them all, Melba had not told them what happened. They all acted funny when they saw Will, He asked for forgiveness crying, that kinda caught their attention as they sat there and listened to him, then Melba joined in and began to explain. To the kids what had happened to their father, she told them my whole involvement in the events, that without me they would have never had gotten their father back, they sat there all emotional and cried, one by one they went to him and embraced him back to their lives. Will was very grateful of what I had done for her family as they all told him about how I bought them food when they didnt have, Melba told him that He owed me a lot for what I did. In his emotional state he declared to his kids that he would reward me, he would give me half of his restaurant, meaning for one of his restaurants I would be 50% owner. Then he told them that he wants me to run his restaurant businesses while He worked on his new projects he was busy on. When Melba told me this I smiled and said we will see. When I chat with Makona informing her that Will had finally come back she said ok, when I asked her if she was gonna go to Will and ask for forgiveness she replied no I wont go be a suck up to him and I said ok he will forgive you if you go and ask for forgiveness, at least you helped us bring him back and she insisted she wouldnt go there. A week later I got a call from Melba, she said Makona is here boo, shes busy on her knees holding onto dads trousers making noise here with tears in her eyes begging for forgiveness . . .
