Diary of a fat white man. Well at my weigh in this morning I was - TopicsExpress

Diary of a fat white man. Well at my weigh in this morning I was back down to 401 so thats a 4 pound loss from last week so I feel like I am back on track. In the health department this weather changing back and forth is hell on me. I am doing my best to fight off yet another cold. I have a friend that is helping me out with an elliptical machine and a treadmill, which I hope to pick up this weekend. Now I can stop walking at night in this lovely weather we are having. I came down with gout again yesterday. I really give up on whats causing it so I went to the doctor and he said before they put me on preventative treatment I had to get blood work done to see if my uric acid levels were high. I told him I could barely bend my elbows but he wanted to make sure. Well gotta love doctors guess they do whatever it takes to make an extra buck. This morning he called and informed that indeed my uric acid levels are abnormally high and I should start a preventative medicine ( I was so shocked, SMH). Its funny all these changes I have done because of the gout and at the end of the day I am still gonna have to take meds. In the hater department everyone has pretty much backed off on me since last weeks post so I am glad the message was received loud and clear. The biggest thing to happened to me is I was elected as the New Baden Jaycees President for next year. I am sure some of you seen me post about it earlier this week. I am still processing all of it but I look forward to the experience. I do like the idea of being called President Beef. Maybe I will be able to even convince some of you to join me next year. Its my Aunt and Uncles 20th Wedding Anniversary party tomorrow night, so if I go all FB drunk post crazy you will all just have to deal with it. This is the earliest warning I have ever given. One last thing, I got a new cell phone today. After a long decision between the Note 4 and the Note 4 Edge, I went with the Note 4. So the rest of my night will be setting up everything on my new phone which is the only part that sucks about getting a new phone. Next week I hope is a better week and hopefully the new equipment will help see to that. As always, To all my fellow life changers out there, stay strong, be positive, ignore the haters, and I am right there with you. The struggle is real and the fight continues.
