Dick Weekley has led successful efforts over the last 20 years for tort reform in TX. Hes done as much as anyone, and more than most, to win offices for people who want less government. I asked who he was supporting in the Harris County Republican Chairmans race, and he wrote this back. Its worth researching, as its coming up a lot from folks I trust. (I asked his permission to print this). -------------------------------------------- Michael, look at my PS below. I am definitely supporting Paul Simpson over Jared Woodfill. I never really cared much before about the Harris County Republican Party, but now that Obama is trying hard to turn Texas blue, we can not afford to have the largest city in the state totally unorganized with no grassroots efforts. Jared has let the Precinct Chairmanships decline from over 700 to the mid 400s. People have wanted to become Precinct Chairs but have been turned down because they don’t pass his purity test. He has a $30,000,000 judgment against him for filing lawsuits on which he had to borrow money, which were then thrown out of court for being frivolous. He then defaulted on his $30,000,000 loan that he had taken out to work the lawsuit……so much for fiscal responsibility. Call me if you want more details. It only gets worse. We must have new leadership to grow our grassroots and to recruit new conservative voters. You could help this effort but simply exposing the facts.
