Dicle University Archery Club have already successfully carry out an archery project whose name was “Give A Shot From The Past To The Future” ( https://facebook/DicleOkculuk ). During the project, 5 girls and 5 boys are trained by our club trainers and informed about history of archery. After two-week intensive training, they participated in National Archery Cup. One of the young archers was at fourth rank in Turkey Junior Cup, Compound Bow Woman Categories. Now, we want to continue our training and activities. Awareness-rising about archery which is one of the most important heritages of many cultures and also has a great effect on ones physical, psychological and mental development, is our main purpose. Also, we aim to train new young archers. So, in the scope of our new project Witchery of Archery, the members of Dicle University Archery Club will train ten children, using the syllabus prepared by Turkey Ministry of Education and FITA. The training, including theoretical training, practical activities and focus-concentration exercises, will support their sportive, social and academic life and will give them a healthy life. We will also organize seminars to inform students, teachers and all people who are interested in this issue. The Project will gather the young people who have social, cultural, economic differences together in order to solve a problem of their society. This will make them work for the same aim, respect for differences, share information, have responsibility, and work in harmony. Those positive results will encourage many other young people to make new projects. VISITING DATE 1-week visiting programme will be held in August or September. TARGET GROUP The participants will be between the years of 18-30. Our project team consists of 10 people. As a partner, you have 5 males and 5 females and one of them must be group leader. For each participant, you are supposed to arrange full board accommodation for the project activities.
