Did 9 year old Teddy just wander too far from his Queens home or did his owners decide they couldn’t care for him any longer? Whatever happened, Teddy is sitting in a cage at Brooklyn ACC wondering what he could have done wrong that was bad enough to land him there. Putting on his best manners during his initial intake, Teddy was found to be in good health. But being a mellow, older gentleman doesn’t count for much and ACC’s got Teddy on tomorrow’s euthanasia list. Tonight, this boy needs that someone out there who looks at him and just knows he’d be a great addition to their household. Teddy doesn’t require all those baby or teenage doggie things. What he needs now is someone to take him for long, slower walks; someone who will make sure he gets decent food; someone who lets him lounge around as they’re watching TV; someone who will let him know they’ll be there for him no matter what. If that’s you, step up to foster or adopt Teddy. But do it quick-tomorrow, ACC will lead Teddy down the hall to the room where all the gone dogs end up.
