Did Adam and Eve EVEN carry their sin with them to the Earth? When they ate from the tree, they regretted what they had done, and said: “Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers” [al-A’raaf 7:23 – interpretation of the meaning] The sin of Adam stemmed from desire, not from arrogance, hence Allaah guided him to repent and He accepted that from him: “Then Adam received from his Lord Words. And his Lord PARDONED him (accepted his repentance). Verily, He is the One Who forgives (accepts repentance), the Most Merciful” [al-Baqarah 2:37 – interpretation of the meaning] This is the way for Adam and his descendents: whoever sins then repents sincerely, Allaah will accept his repentance: “And He it is Who accepts repentance from His slaves, and forgives sins, and He knows what you do” [al-Shoora 42:25 – interpretation of the meaning] Allahu akbar! That is the real deal. Its about us repenting when we err. Allah is oft forgiving. We werent by any means born with sins around our necks as the Christian claim. Even Adam didnt have to carry it around about bcs he was forgiven. Be a Muslim and know you have been liberated from any form of bondage. May Allah grant us firm Yaqeen(Certainty in His Deen). Ameen.
