Did NOT hit the ground running in retirement. Slept in but when I - TopicsExpress

Did NOT hit the ground running in retirement. Slept in but when I did rise, reading the paper and coffee is a good start plus its raining and in most cultures, rain is considered a good sign. Any other suggestions? Short term and long term would be appreciated. I will: 1) take more pictures. Looking for birds to photo will be fun. 2) read books I have collected over 40 years. 3) study my Bible more. Maybe should have been 1) but Hes understanding. 4) make my childrens/grand childrens lives easier. They are the most important component of my life and NOW I can give more. And giving more money is a copout. THE most valuable asset you have is your time. MY time will be THEIR time. And in other ways, I can help them. Stay tuned. 5) teach (somehow) some of the lessons Ive learned. 6) play my guitar. Sing til the wee hours knowing there is NO time limit. 7) watch movies. Catalog them and have a check out system for my children. I know...they tivo everything but since I have many movies theyve never heard of, I can be their Blockbuster without a charge. 8) travel. Not on a boat but by car and.... 9) visit England and meet some Jenkinses in Wales. A bucket list this is not but my father and his brother John always wanted to do this last one. Maybe I can get it done. 10) visit Baker Street. Theres a Museum there. Buy a hat. Wear it. Many other ideas but Im getting bored of my own typing. ADHD, I think but Im too old to be diagnosed and I really dont want to be cured. Amen.
